About Dr. Katzen
D. J. Timothy Katzen has devoted his practice to helping patients complete their weight loss journey. Most of Dr. Katzen’s patients have lost weight through dieting, exercising, and/or weight loss surgery (bariatric surgery). Types of bariatric surgeries include Roux-en-Y (RNY), vertical gastric sleeve, duodenal switch, Fobi pouch, and the Lap band. Dr. Katzen has performed thousands of procedures to help patients rid themselves of redundant and excess hanging skin. Dr. Katzen will meet with you confidentially and determine which surgery best achieves that new body of which you have been dreaming. Dr. Katzen is very experienced and offers a vast array of different procedures to treat the weight loss patient. Among other procedures, Dr. Katzen offers the 360 body lift (circumferential body lift), tummy tuck (abdominoplasty), arm reduction / lift (brachioplasty), thigh reduction / lift, “hour-glassing” (torsoplasty), face lift, neck lift, and liposuction.
Dr. Katzen is a recognized leader in the field of reconstructive plastic surgery after weight loss. Dr. Katzen has passed the strict requirements set forth by and is certified by both the National Board of Medical Examiners by the American Board of Plastic Suregry. He has lectured overseas and trained other plastic surgeons in his novel and pioneering 360 body lift. In addition to teaching other plastic surgeons, Dr. Katzen has lectured on reconstructive plastic surgery after weight loss across America to thousands of weight loss patients. He has hosted many chat rooms discussing surgical options after massive weight loss. Dr. Katzen is so highly regarded in reconstructive plastic surgery after weight loss, that he has been featured multiple times on television and the radio.
